A farm that carries the footsteps of generations
Nestled in the heart of the Mountain View community in Hickory, North Carolina, our farm carries a legacy more than a century strong. Established in 1913, we are proud to be recognized as an NC Century Farm and even prouder to be a 6th generation family continuing the tradition. What began with sweet potatoes, strawberries, and Hereford cattle has grown into something new, while still honoring the deep roots of our past.
from sweet potatoes and strawberries to the cattle that have shaped our story...
Our story took a turn in 2019 when we purchased the farm from Laura’s grandparents. This land is more than property to us…it’s heritage. Laura’s Papaw was born and raised here, the same place his parents and grandparents tended crops and cattle. Her great-great-grandfather once grew strawberries so well that families traveled over 100 miles just to buy them. But, cattle have always been an integral part of the farm…from Hereford to Angus and Charolais crosses. Today, the original foundation and front porch steps from Laura’s great-great-grandfather’s home still stand and serve as a reminder of where it all began.

Proudly recognized as a NC Century Farm.
In 2021, while attending CattleCon in Nashville, we were introduced to Wagyu beef for the first time. The taste, the extraordinary marbling, and the unmatched genetics of this breed captured our attention immediately. By 2022, we welcomed our first four Wagyu cattle onto the farm. That small start has since grown into a thriving full-blood Wagyu herd of 60 head, all dual registered with both the American and Australian Wagyu Associations.
Family run, faith driven and future focused.
Today, our farm continues to be family-ran with the help of the next generation. Our three boys Easton (14), Parker (6), and Ford (2) are being raised with the same values and love for the land that’s been passed down for over a century. They are deeply involved in the day-to-day work and take great pride in helping us ensure this farm continues to thrive for years to come.

Raising exceptional Wagyu beef...and even better kids.
As we grow our Wagyu herd, our hope is not only to share this remarkable beef with families near and far but also to remain a cornerstone of our community. Our story is one of heritage and hard work, faith and family, tradition and innovation—and we’re proud to carry it forward into the next generation.
